Mark Harris is one of the members of the disbanded group 4HIM. This is such a wonderful song, which is like a wish or a prayer from a father to his son or daughter.

The first time I heard this song, it almost made me cry. The lyrics just show how much love our earthly father have for us, and I cannot imagine how much more our Father in Heaven loves us and wants to give us all the good things there are.

I'm very happy to hear our local music station play some contemporary Christian songs, because here, there is no radio station that plays purely that genre and I usually tune to internet radio for my feed of favourite type of music (sometimes it's just depressing and demotivated listening to "break up" songs and songs with no meaning).

"When we wrote this song, I drew inspiration from the story in the Bible that tells about the woman caught in adultery. She was thrown at the feet of Jesus, and the religious leaders of the day were looking for Him to condemn her according to their laws. Instead, He asked each of them to punish her according to the level of their own perfection, and they had nothing to say. I tried to think how she must have felt, to be turned free and unpunished although she was guilty. This song is about breaking free and going further and higher than you or anyone ever expected. This is my current favourite song that sings about the beauty of our God and King. And I also love the official video of this song, as it is different from most of the videos that I have seen before.

I've tried to search for the video on youtube but with no success. Anyway, the video is made up of thousands of photographs in a series..sound interesting? You can find the making of the video though.

Needtobreathe is a band that should be given a listen because unknowingly, their songs are featured in various popular programs such as ESPN, Oprah, MTV, Prison Break (source from Wikipedia).

Anyway, what I think the song is trying to express is that, humans may try in many ways to portray how our God look like, but sometimes we forget that we are made in His image, thus the signature of divine.
